David Vergauwen – Director
David studied history, art history, and musicology at the universities of Ghent and Brussels, earning his Ph.D. in history at VUB. He is the author of “Kolommen van Harmonie” (2015) and “Maçonnieke chansons” (2017). Since 2023, he has been the director of CEDOM. He resides in Bruges.
Mohcin Zaïdi – Administrative Assistant
Mohcin is an administrative assistant. He is responsible for digitizing archives and maintaining our library. After completing his secondary education, Mohcin opted for training as a librarian-documentalist and underwent various additional courses. He has been working at CEDOM since 2009.
Emilie Peiffer – Archivist
Emilie studied art history and archaeology at the ULB, where she obtained a master’s degree in heritage conservation. She also holds a teaching diploma (Higher Education Aggregation), which will help the CEDOM to raise awareness about the history of Belgian Freemasonry.
Since her arrival in June 2024, she has been responsible for inventorying and conditioning of the collection.
